Economy and Trucking Update August 2024

Howdy!

I can be a bit of a talker, as evidenced below with a thirty minute single take about the economy and trucking markets I’ve made. I’ve recorded myself next to a slew of indicators.

The first half covers parts of the Fed’s dual mandate, what to watch for ahead, and how these signals begin affecting freight markets. I don’t go too high or too low in any market, so fear not any doomsday decree.
